This journal has always been my secret indulgence. It's my place to get away from other places where I have to act like this and talk like that. So to put it plainly, if you don't like what I have to write, I'm sorry. It's the way I am. But anyways, I'm your normal, crazy, happy 24-year-old post-graduate student in Ohio. I'm not doing what I want to do right now. Life has dealt me lemons and I'm making lemonade.

Some of my favorite things include reading, any kind of music, spending time with friends, family, and my boyfriend Jonny, and missing school with all my heart (yeah, I'm a dork). Family is everything to me. My parents are divorced, and my father is quite possibly the most amazing dad in the ENTIRE world. My three sisters are beautiful! :) When I have time, I love to write, and writing letters is one of my favorite pastimes.

If you put a book in front of me, I'll be sure to gobble it up promptly. But if I had to play favorites, I would have to say: The HARRY POTTER series. U2 by U2. The Historian, by Elizabeth Kostova. Wicked, by Gregory Maguire. In fact, anything by Gregory Maguire. Dan Brown novels: Angels and Demons, the Da Vinci Code, and others. The Stand, by Stephen King. Ellen Hopkins books: Crank, Burned, Identical, and Impulse. She's Come Undone, by Wally Lamb. Oh lord, I love reading. Currently really into Kathy Reichs books, the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, and the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris.I'm not a super crazy! tv watcher, but I do have a few favorite shows, including but not limited to: DEXTER. DEXTER. DEXTER. :) Nip/Tuck. I'm a LOST fanatic! Supernatural. CSI. TRUE BLOOD baby. The Office makes my day. Degrassi: The Next Generation. The Golden Girls. SpongeBob SquarePants (but only when I'm home watching it with my sisters). Legend of the Seeker. And almost ANYTHING on the food network (with the exception of Paula Deen, she's terrifying).Harry Potter movies are love. But I also love The Holiday. Love Actually. Because I Said So. Little Miss Sunshine. Sunshine Cleaning. Anything Disney or Pixar. Anything Narnia. CARS. The Prestige. Under the Tuscan Sun. The Notebook. National Treasure movies. Okay, ANYTHING with Nicolas Cage.
